Thank you for these tips! I trained last year for my first half marathon (which I ran in 2:30 and was pretty darn proud of myself) but I'm afraid I've gotten out of practice. Life, work and school have taken a front seat. But, I'm ready to get back at it! Thanks for the encouragement!
ReplyDelete2.30 is a great timing for first timers!! Yup its not the most important thing in life but the process can be invigorating to one's mind and soul, as I found out during my trainings and the long runs that I have been doing! In fact, I use running as a form of relaxation and it helps to relieve stress from work, studies, etc!
DeleteI don't have much desire to attempt a marathon, but it was definitely interesting to see what kind of preparation it would take if I wanted to.
